I am
Farahnaz Abazary
I am Farahnaz Abazary, known to many as Farah. With a degree in Fashion Design and Dressmaking from University of Tehran, and later completed my higher education in master of Fashion design from University of Maryland. I began my professional career at 18 by co-founding my first bridal and evening wear atelier.
Over the years, my career has grown through love, motherhood, migration, and resilience. After relocating to the United States in 2013, I founded Farrah Couture, a studio dedicated to creating custom gowns for brides and women competing in Miss USA and Miss America. In 2023, I launched Silhouette Bridal & Formal, a boutique in Maryland where my designs, alterations, and styling expertise come together under one roof. Every thread in my journey tells a story of reinvention, rooted in cultural richness and a deep love for fashion.
